Good Morning from Pennethorne Manor . . . the sun rises from the east and shines brightly on the manor.
The sun shines into the breakfast room and conservatory where Lady Pennethorne often takes tea.
After feeding the beloved pets of the family, Aoife prepares breakfast for Lord and Lady Pennethorne (which today is cake!). Rosemary takes breakfast with Aoife in the kitchen (at least until she reaches the age of maturity which in Victorian England was between 13 and 24).
Lady Pennethorne and Reginauld discuss seating arrangements for this evening's dinner party in the Grand Dining room.
Where a person was seated spoke volumes in Victorian England.
After breakfast Rosemary went up to play with her new doll in her bedroom.
The rag doll was made by Debbie Dixon-Paver. |
Lord Pennethorne is catching up on the news . . . or rather he is napping after a breakfast of cake!
The Parlor has been made ready to receive guests . . .
Please, won't you sit down and stay for a cup of tea?
Ahhhh so inviting and romantic!
